On always carrying a camera with you

erickimphoto:

I think one of the most important habits of a street photographer is to always carry his or her camera always. Think about all the moments you saw a great photography opportunity, but left your camera at home.

As Woody Allen says, “80% of success is just showing up”. So perhaps 80% of success in street photography is always carrying a camera with you.

City And Colour

—As Much As I Ever Could

Love of mine,

Won’t you lay by my side,

And rest your weary eyes,

Before we’re out of time,

Give me one last kiss,

For soon, such distance,

Will stretch between our lips,

Now the day’s losing light.

Growing Up

A piece I made for the Combo Attack show organized by Iam8Bit and Capcom. :) Street Fight is my favorite fighting game of all time. It is also the only fighting game I still play now. :) The piece is called Growing Up.
Of all the SF characters apart from Dan (who has been my favorite for the last 4 years only because he’s my namesake, hahaha), Ryu & Ken were always my favorite characters. I played SF games from SNES, PS1, PS2, Xbox and Xbox 360 and I’ve always used these 2 characters. I was happy with how Capcom differentiated them from each other - Ryu mastered the Hadouken while Ken mastered the Shoryuken. In terms of character Ryu was always the more philosophical one while Ken was the edgier and stylish one.
Hope you guys like it. Yey!
